I’m jazzed up to tell you about the new rock star real estate virtual assistant on our team, Jennifer Shefcik! Jennifer’s a Chicago native with 6 (yes, 6!) children ranging in ages from 6 to 26. (And you thought you were busy!) On top of this, she’s married to one of Chicago’s South Side PD’s finest.

Her background is in customer service – particularly in warehousing and transportation, which gives her unique insight to a few often overlooked industries. Jenn started out in the customer service department of a warehousing and transportation company and worked her way up, continuing to provide excellent customer service along the way. Her experience has helped her develop good rapport with clients and their customers as a virtual assistant. They know when they work with her they’re getting her very best.

In May of 2005, she decided she needed a change from the corporate world and started a VA business.  Jenn’s worked for clients in several different industries, but it was a real estate investor client that really changed things for her.

She’d always loved looking at houses just for fun, and once she started working in that industry found she couldn’t get enough of the interesting niche. She continued to teach herself everything she could find. Turns out she had some really marketable skills, and real estate agents started calling her for help. At the time, the real estate market was tanking so the agents appreciated her help to stay afloat. Years later, two of those agents are still loyal clients.

Currently, she helps agents, property managers, and brokers with everything under the sun. She’s knowledgeable about all of the ins and outs of real estate including contracts and popular new marketing practices. She feels that she’s in the best of both worlds – working in an industry she loves and still being able to provide top-notch customer service to both clients and their customers.

Providing excellent customer service is extremely important to Jenn, and she takes great pride in her three decades of customer service experience.  Combine that with her exceptional listening skills, she has a real talent for matching solutions to a variety of issues.

Jenn is versatile and happy to take on general real estate tasks as well as the transactional tasks. Think Jenn would make a great addition to your real estate team? I’d love to hear from you so we can talk about your needs.

As always, thanks for reading.

Until next time,

Angie
